Speaker: Ralph Sarabia

My name is Ralphie Sarabia and I am the founder of Putasos.  I started this brand out of a passion for boxing and for living. My love for the "sweet science" and desire to overcome the challenges of life are the foundation for this movement.  As a result of my childhood experience, I developed a fighting spirit that guided me through many trials as a young man into adulthood. Boxing became a natural outlet for me and something that gave me a sense of community. I joined the US. Marine Corps shortly after the attacks on 9/11 and would soon fight in Iraq as an infantryman.  Many of brothers who fought beside me did not make it home like me. The pain I experienced in walking through life without them created a guilt, fear and shame that I was now in combat with. Just like any man, it was a good woman in my corner who helped me out of my darkest days. With her help and the help from God, I came up with the brand Putasos which embodies the way my community approaches life, trauma and challenges. We will throw heavy blows at the enemy of life and fight to the end. There are no easy paths, just hard work, faith and perseverance. Will you join me in throwing Putasos???!!
