Welcome letter from the Business Growth Group Conference Program Committee Co-Chairs
Dear Attendees,
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to participate in the official first Business Growth Group Conference (BGGC) in Atlanta, GA. The BGGC is designed to have something for everyone, whether you are exploring networking opportunities, growth strategies, online selling, social media effectiveness, business coaching, artist development/management and understanding the benefits of branding, marketing and selling.

During the conference, you will learn from the some of the best in their field of expertise in order to build on your own organization’s strengths and address your own organization’s opportunities for improvement. In fact, this year, we are introducing events like - Growing Your Ministry, Social Media Effectiveness, Makers Meet Up, Growth Strategies, Online Selling Effectiveness, Speed Pass, Networking Raffles, and an Awards Ceremony. We are also planning an exciting, engaging and empowering new event called Speed Coaching, which will give attendees an opportunity to bring their questions to coaches who will provide free guidance and/or advice, all while listening to great music from some of BGG’s Artists to serve as entertainment for the final festivities of the evening.
This one-day conference is an excellent opportunity for you to meet and connect with likeminded individuals to network, collaborate, sharing of best practices, exchanging of social media platforms, and the building of trusted relationships across the United States. As always, we extend a warm welcome to all our attendees in the industry who share our interest in connecting with new people during breakfast/lunch chats. No one should leave this conference a stranger!

​CONFERENCE SAFETY MEASURES

Now, to the safety measures. The vaccine is now available to all adults, so we expect there will be a considerable number of BGG attendees who would have taken the shot, which in our space gives us herd immunity. This is HUGE!!!
Additionally, there will be. . .

Mask-wearing.

Social-distancing: spaced out tables and seating in breakout rooms and only six or eight to a table instead of 10 in the ballrooms.

Hand sanitizers will be stationed throughout the venue and distributed in gift bags.

Exclusive rooms for the event that will not allow for outside guests.

Color-coded badges that indicate a person's comfort level. This will be enacted to not force our beliefs on what people should and should not do and not being intrusive. You will determine at the BGG registration desk.
BLUE
DOT
Blue dot on your badge means:
I do not want to be touched, I will wear a mask and follow the CDC guidelines on safety.
YELLOW
DOT
Yellow means:
I am fully vaccinated, will wear a mask and comfortable bumping elbows, but not shaking hands or hugging.
GREEN
DOT
Green means:
I am fully vaccinated and I am comfortable not wearing a mask, and comfortable hugging, shaking hands, etc.
These measures have been implemented at various in-person conferences this year and have been successful in making sure everyone had a comfortable, safe experience.
We intend to have the most exciting and fun times at our very first BGG Conference, and that's saying a lot considering how 2020 panned out! We all have a lot of growth experiences to discuss, pivotal virtual business start-ups during COVID-19, best practice sharing, networking, etc., and the ATL is the perfect location to make some major opportunities a business reality!
Stay safe until our meet up in August! We are looking forward to meeting everyone in Atlanta for what promises to be a most stimulating and enjoyable event!
